Implementation of a Web-based teleradiology management system.

摘要: Five Queensland hospitals have been equipped with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). Patient transfers from one facility to another involve transferring images PACS PACS. We developed a Web-based teleradiology management system (TMS) that automates the transfer of radiologists' reports, as well quality control housekeeping associated teleradiology. The TMS was installed at all five hospitals. During two-month study period, 752 studies were transmitted. All reports arrived correctly destination hospital, together notification email for administrators. support personnel agreed significantly reduced amount time they spent on image transfers.
