摘要: Many policies designed to reduce the assumed negative effects of living in deprived neighbourhoods aim create opportunity, places where people choose live, and are satisfied with their residential environment (both physical social). However neighbourhood satisfaction may be important understanding why certain groups more likely leave than others. Of specific interest this chapter is relationship between deprivation share ethnic minorities neighbourhood. It clear from literature that non-ethnic minority populations avoid a high proportion minorities. not very however, whether because individuals explicitly seek minorities, or they concentrated (the racial proxy hypothesis): these often also feature low average incomes, levels crime, poor services. Using data Netherlands, it tentatively concluded today’s society hypothesis valid anymore, partly rising religious tensions. The concludes regeneration should focus on social problems less problems.
