摘要: In this article, we compare accounts given by young carers and specialist support workers about the riskiness of becoming a carer relatively early in life. We argue that since mid-1990s, policy response has problematised comparatively adoption caring role as risk factor for future personal development. This temporal issue become societally organised around concern NEETs (young adults not education, employment or training). Such is predicated on cultural assumptions, now being undermined to economic crisis, existence critical age transition adulthood, successful navigation which requires time-limited period freedom.
