摘要: Paget's disease of bone is characterized by a high turnover. Therefore, antiresorbing agents such as bisphosphonates are clearly indicated. However, they accumulate in the pagetic lesions, could produce some focal defects mineralization. In double-blind study, we have had opportunity to compare effects tiludronate and etidronate (both at fixed dose 400 mg/day orally) on radiological changes 12 patients suffering from bone. After breaking code, good agreement was observed between evaluations applied therapy: All positive balances were group, except for three questionable densifications negative group. This confirms our previous experience with when X-ray films lesions followed sequentially during therapy.
