Effect of artificial pinning centers on YBCO high temperature superconductor through substitution of graphene nano-platelets

摘要: Abstract We report the structural modification and superconducting parameters variation of YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) high temperature superconductor (HTSC) with addition different wt. % GnPs (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 & 3.0 wt. %) synthesized by standard solid state reaction route. The orthorhombic structures all samples Pmmm space group were confirmed from XRD analysis through Rietveld refinements. No significant is observed in lattice structure YBCO matrix increasing GnPs. Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) shows better connectivity between grains doped samples. From ρ vs. T measurement it that there no chemical superconductivity GnPs, rather reduced room resistivity more importantly enhances critical ( C on ). Rather it, an enhancement current density value for substituted TBCO By application 0.4 T external magnetic fields, 2.0 wt. sample maximum nearly 12 times than pristine YBCO.
