摘要: BACKGROUND: Ketorolac tromethanime is a non steroidal anti inflammato- ry drug and its efficacy on acute pain control af- ter abdominal surgery has been well document- ed. It rapid onset it can be given both for intra operative post management. AIM: In this study we aimed to evaluate if there were any differences in relieving op- erative when was administered with continuous infusion or at prearranged times. PATIENTS AND METHODS: 80 ASA I patients, scheduled major gynecological surgery, randomly assigned 2 groups: group A pa- tients connected after surgical incision 24h analgesic infusor (2 ml/h) containing morphine (0.02 mg/kg/h) (90 mg). Group B patients first then bolus every 8 hours the 24 hours. Post-operative scores assessed us- ing Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) h. For VAS value grater than 6, received Tramadol 100 mg. RESULTS: showed better relief B. Furthermore, requirements of rescue anal- gesic less (Tramadol used only patients) 31 patients). No adverse effects registered groups. CONCLUSIONS: post-operative Ke- torolac administration times, hours, offers greater benefits respect infusion.
