摘要: Acoustic shielding treatments are necessary to prevent damage the payload during launch. This paper discusses three modeling approaches used analyze efficacy of such treatments. Results from acoustic studies using a finite element model (FEM), an analytical approach and experimental testing presented here. Payload bay pressure distributions frequency responses developed simple two dimensional scale models. The models first demonstrate agreement with published results predictions. They also show potential for full modeling.
