摘要: Cancer is a long-term, life-limiting condition, and its end-of-life stage complex. This study aimed to understand the lived experience of patients with progressive advanced oncological disease. Seven women in an acute hospital Portugal were interviewed results analysed using phenomenological approach their experience. The analysis indicated that these has six essential constituents: information about one's own health; perception disease; emotional reactions; aid strategies by nurses; imitations imposed changes life perspective. cancer very powerful authors believe this contributed understanding situation, particularly terms helping improve palliative care practices.
