摘要: This paper makes a first attempt to survey and discuss the advances trends in formulations applications of finite element modeling adaptive structural elements. For most contributions, specific assumptions, particular those electrical type, characteristics elements are precised. The informations illustrated tables figures for helpful use by researchers as well designers interested this growing field smart materials structures. Focus is put on development piezoelectric only. However, papers other active systems also listed completeness purpose. In total, more than 100 were found open literature.
