摘要: BACKGROUND: To avoid symptoms, patients with COPD may reduce the amount of activities daily living (ADL). Therefore, aim present study was to develop a standardized protocol evaluate ADL performance in subjects (Londrina protocol) and assess validity reliability this population. METHODS: The Londrina created based on included previous studies aimed at investigating outcomes from ADL. Activities were because they could represent other similar patterns be actually performed, not simulated. Twenty (12 men, 70 ± 7 y old, FEV1 = 54 15% predicted) wore 2 motion sensors while performing 4 times, them wearing portable gas analyzer. Subjects also submitted assessments lung function, functional exercise capacity, status, impact health physical activity life. RESULTS: comprised 5 representing ADL, involving upper limbs, lower trunk movements. duration presented high values intraclass correlation coefficient, even using mask for analysis (intraclass coefficient >0.90, P CONCLUSIONS: valid reliable COPD. It is that can used clinical practice future investigate outcomes, including those require mask.
