摘要: A comparative sedimentological analysis of the Upper Jurassic–Lower Cretaceous deposits carried out on drill-cores from southern part Carpathian Foredeep allowed us to distinguish thirteen main microfacies types. The results analyses and stratigraphical data made it possible propose a lithological subdivision Jurassic Lower sediments basement between Krakow Rzeszow. In analysed wells, three sedimentary complexes were distinguished, embracing following intervals: (i) Callovian–Oxfordian, (ii) Kimmeridgian (iii) Tithonian– Berriasian–Valanginian. Oxfordian, Tithonian represent outer – mid homoclinal ramp facies, whereas Berriasian Valanginian belong inner facies. Complexes microbial-sponge reefs, with distinct relief, could be recognised in Oxfordian only. development these buildups took place basin typified by diversified morphology, determined block-type structure Palaeozoic synsedimentary tectonics, which brought about substantial variability thickness sediments. At end large reef facies replaced mainly microbial-coral biostromes developed during Tithonian. principal studied area (except western described fragment Foredeep; area) Kimmeridgian, Tithonian, Valanginian, sedimentation occurred homogeneous resulted wide extent comparable thicknesses distinguished types.
