摘要: Abstract This manuscript outlines a methodological framework for modelling the hydrological impacts of future coal mining and seam gas extraction. Such potentially include changes to both high flow low characteristics such as total volume, rate frequency, cease frequency. In particular, proposes methodology that is suitable prediction cumulative from multiple resource developments making predictions at locations in landscape. The proposed framed terms structured uncertainty analysis provide information on likelihood potential ranges various impacts. approach can be applied under wide range data availability, even when there little no observed data, whilst additional easily incorporated better constrain results. assessments thus derived regulators with crucial objective social, economic, environmental ecological risks developments. Whilst discussed here development, this has readily adapted extractive industries, including but not limited minerals other sources unconventional gas. As it stands, does explicitly consider water quality, could extended if required.
