摘要: Ultra-long SiC nanowires with lengths ranging from several millimeters to one centimeter were successfully prepared graphite, silicon, silica and alumina raw materials via a simple carbon thermal reduction method in tube furnace at 1300 °C. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy scattering (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission (TEM), high-resolution (HRTEM) Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) employed characterize the morphology microstructure of obtained products. The results showed that mostly consisted 3C–SiC exhibited mainly straight-line shape diameters range 30–150 nm. Alumina may be novel highly effective mediator playing an important role controlling concentration SiO during growth ultra-long alumina-assisted vapor–solid (VS) mechanism was proposed for mode nanowires.
