摘要: Abstract Phase stability in the TiAlX (X = Cr, Mo and W) system has been investigated at 1473 1573 K by following methods: microstructure observation of quenched specimens, diffusion coupling experiments, thermal analysis DTA situ X-ray diffraction. The ternary phase diagrams are proposed; additions W stabilize β diagrams. tendency ‘β stabilizer’ is order: 6 at% Cr 3 1 ≒ 10 vol% phase. In these Ti-Al-X systems, α + γ three-phase coexisting region close to TiAl binary line sifts slightly toward a higher concentration Al as temperature increases. Based on diagrams, (γ β) TiAl having super-plastic capability partial lamellar (P-L) which shows relatively well balanced mechanical properties from room elevated temperatures have rationalized.
