Drug-induced pulmonary disease. Part 2: Noncytotoxic drugs.

摘要: Numerous pharmacologic agents used in the treatment of cancer have been linked to pulmonary toxic side effects. Mechanisms damage by these drugs include direct toxicity and indirect effects through enhancement inflammatory reactions. Risk factors for development elucidated some but they remain unclear others. Clinical features are similar most categories cytotoxic agents, common associated clinical syndrome is chronic pneumonitis/fibrosis. Treatment outcome vary with each particular agent. In Part 1 this review, aspects pathogenic mechanisms drug-induced disease discussed.
