The Poverty and Housing Scale: report on a pilot study.

摘要: The measurement of beliefs and attitudes on poverty housing is important to researchers social workers interested in examining the role that belief structures have development policy programs these areas. This article reports pilot study findings a new scale, Poverty Housing Scale (PHS), measures this concept evaluates its psychometric properties. Preliminary reliability was very good range. Examinations content face validity provided support instrument as valid measure housing. factor analysis emerged one factor, 13-item scale. Unlike other related scales, PHS attempts link together. Theoretical methodological strengths weaknesses are considered implications for work practice discussed. authors provide recommendations additional testing instrument.
