摘要: AbstractIn this study, the occurrence and treatment of two earthy-musty odorants, geosmin 2-MIB, produced by cyanobacteria is investigated at conventional drinking-water plants (WTPs) Kinmen Island, Taiwan. Samples source, processed, finished waters tap water WTPs were collected analyzed. Both 2-MIB commonly detected in most samples, with concentration much higher than concentration. About 78% source samples 35% showed levels odor threshold (OTC, ∼10  ng/L). Sampling analysis reservoir indicated that uniformly distributed reservoir, ∼70% which existing dissolved phase.
