Goldstein died on March 13, 1997, the scientific community and in particular Clinical Psychology lost an outstanding teacher, creative therapist, internationally renowned scholar a wise, humorous caring friend. is survived by his wife Vida, two daughters, Janet Ellen, son Peter, four grandchildren Fiona, Natalia, Robert Jacob. He also leaves important legacy lives of doctoral students US Europe research fellows.
