摘要: Objective Low serum levels of mannan binding lectin (MBL) are associated with increased risk recurrent infections. We determined whether there was an association between MBL and the course prognosis rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods analyzed in sera from 99 patients RA who were included a longterm prospective study. Results Compared controls, high fraction lacked detectable (11 vs 3%; p = 0.025). Comparing above below median revealed that those younger at onset (p 0.043) had higher erythrocyte sedimentation rate 0.006), joint swelling score 0.019), limitation motion 0.027), annual increase radiographic destruction 0.053). Conclusion insufficiency may be contributing pathogenetic factor RA.
