摘要: The acute phase serum protein response to infection, inflammation or trauma has been identified in a number of species and consists alterations the concentrations several proteins. It is known that profile stimulation differs between species. In pig, individual proteins have as association with infection pathological lesions. this investigation, turpentine injection was used stimulate sterile inflammatory lesion pigs so relative changes could be determined most appropriate markers inflammation. mean concentration acid soluble glycoprotein fraction showed two-fold increase peak 2 days after treatment. alpha(1)-acid fluctuated during period following little difference from control animals. ceruloplasmin increased by 40% 4th day haptoglobin more than reaching on 2nd C-reactive level eight-fold injection. are likely best for identification lesions pigs.
