摘要: Auto junk markets have been observed to be one of the sources heavy metal pollution in soils and water. The aim this study is assess level within two largest auto Nigeria at Obosi Nnewi, respectively. Twenty-four (24) composite soil samples including background (control) 0–15 15–30 cm depths, six (6) water were randomly collected. Samples properly digested subjected spectroscopic analysis using atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS) for trace metals. Seven selected metals (Fe, Cu, Ni, Cr, Zn, Mn, Pb) analyzed three replicates. results revealed that metals’ concentration (ppm) 0–30 cm depth are well above values with Ni excess international standard. Metal enrichment order > Fe >> Zn Cu Mn Pb Cr. Results obtained from Fe, when compared World Health Organization (WHO 2009) Nigerian Standard Drinking Water Quality (NSDWQ 2007) standards drinking load index contamination factor reveals around automobile various stages metals, ranging slight severe pollution. not advisable domestic uses, as a result its contents, which connected effects industrial waste accumulation indiscriminate disposal suggested by principal component analysis.
