摘要: Suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS)-1 is an essential regulator many pathways, including those upregulated in the inflamed colonic mucosa patients with ulcerative colitis. We sought to investigate whether functional SOCS-1 −1478CA>del polymorphism associated UC susceptibility and its disease phenotype a Turkish clinical sample. A total 104 subjects were enrolled case–control study (52 cases 52 controls). The was genotyped using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length (PCR–RFLP) method. odds ratio del allele for relative CA not significant (OR = 1.04, 95 % CI 0.59–1.82, P 0.88). These results did change after adjustment age sex multivariable regression analysis 1.07, 0.42–1.69, 0.73). When analyzed among according continuous non-continuous disease, recurrence 1.56, 0.78–4.56, 0.83). Furthermore, when we divided into two groups previous history colectomy, found no effect 1.94, 0.55–5.61, 0.91). Taken together, these findings suggest that does contribute subjects.
