摘要: Abstract This study compared the tissue heating produced by 45kHz and 1MHz ultrasound machines used subaqueously in metal plastic basins. An intervention with cross-over design was used. The setting a laboratory. Two cross-sections of nonliving pig were thermocouples positioned, tissues, at different distances along beam axis. Specimens each exposed to machine machine. Both treatment basins (2 × 2 basin types). Thermocouples measured temperature variations for 30 minutes on 10 it off. Temperature increases depths varied both type frequency maximum increase 0.4°C an initial rate 0.05°C per minute. consistently greater increases. These further increased 2.65°C (average) if rather than machine, operated output, little irradiated tissue. By contrast, unit appreciable almost full depth irradiated. Use basin, plastic, resulted markedly higher significantly heating.
