摘要: This thesis is about three major aspects of the identification top quarks. First comes understanding their production mechanism, decay channels and how to translate theoretical formulae into programs that can simulate such physical processes using Monte Carlo techniques. In particular, author has been involved in introduction POWHEG generator framework ATLAS experiment. now fully used as benchmark program for simulation ttbar pairs decay, along with MC@NLO AcerMC: this will be shown chapter one.
