摘要: Since midcentury, changes have taken place in American society that had a profound impact on both the family and lives of mentally retarded persons. To yield highly relevant findings, future research families with members will to take these into account. This chapter suggests yet another perspective for this area. In discussion follows, terms (MR) severely developmentally disabled (DD) are used interchangeably.
