Thermodynamics of (1‐Chloronaphthalene + n‐Alkane): Excess Enthalpies, Excess Volumes and Excess Heat Capacities

摘要: A flow microcalorimeter of the Picker design has been used to measure molar excess enthalpies at 298.15 K seven binary liquid mixtures 1-chloronaphthalene + n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, n-decane, n-dodecane. n-pentadecane, and n-hexadecane. Experiments were performed in discontinuous mode, covering essentially whole composition range. The overall imprecision measurements is characterized by standard deviations from Redlich-Kister type smoothing equations generally less than ± 1 per cent maximum value HEmax enthalpy (with respect mole fraction). most striking feature that for 6 n 16 (n denotes number C-atoms n-alkane) decreases with increasing n, correlation being approximately linear. – For n-dodecane, n-hexadecane volumes VE obtained, as a function fraction, density vibrating-tube densimeter. are negative all cases become chain length n-alkane. At equimolar composition, (1-C10H7Cl n-C6H14) we find = -1.555±10−6 m3 mol−1, n-C16H34), -0.397±10−6 mol−1. calorimeter was determine heat capacities constant pressure CEp except 1-C10H7Cl n-C10H22, n-C16H34. capacity zero mixture increases up n-C12H26); n-C15H32), CpE somewhat smaller, thus indicating trend inversion.
