摘要: The intestinal mucosa is exposed to large amounts of foreign antigen (Ag) derived from commensal bacteria, dietary Ags, and pathogens. Dendritic cells (DCs) are believed be involved in the induction tolerance harmless Ags mounting protective immune responses pathogens and, as such, play key roles regulating homeostasis. characterization classical DCs (cDCs) lamina propria has been under intense investigation recent years but use markers (including CD11c, CD11b, MHC class II), which also expressed by MΦs, led some controversy regarding their definition. Here we review studies that help distinguish cDCs subsets monocyte-derived mucosa. We address phenotype ontogeny these cDC highlight findings indicating distinct regulation mucosal vivo.
