摘要: Abstract I review recent FUV and X-ray observations of classical recurrent novae supersoft sources, among them potential type Ia supernova progenitors. FUSE spectra show emission lines O VI, which appear to be produced very close the white dwarf binary system. In one case, these have allowed a measurement secondary mass. grating post-novae other non-nova sources fall into two classes: in some systems we observe wind, or diffuse circumstellar material; others detect atmosphere. “Composite” spectra, superposition emission, are also observed. When atmosphere is observed, atmospheric models promising preliminary results. objects, anomalous abundances found. One bright nova, V4743 Sgr, observed 6–18 months after outburst.
