摘要: The authors report the first demonstration of all-optical address recognition and self-routing photonic packets for case where packet bit period is only 4 ps, corresponding to a 0.25 Tbit/s bandwidth optical network. An ultrafast device, known as terahertz asymmetric demultiplexer (TOAD), was used read information encoded in header, which turn route packet. error rate at switch output measured be less than 10-9.
