摘要: We investigated the efficiency of different kinds perches in attracting seed disperser-birds and increasing rain a degraded area located northeast region Sao Paulo State. installed traps under natural (NPs, living trees); simple artificial (SAPs) 3m tall crossbar; elaborate (EAPs) 7m three crossbars, control area. Results showed number bird-dispersed seeds deposited was proportional to structures for perching. The NPs also have provided other resources birds such as food shelter. Comparing visitation between perches, there greater use EAPs having more perching being taller, providing better airspace visibility predatory tyrant-flycatchers, important dispersers. Thus, with similar characteristics are most recommended base or complementary method restoration areas near propagules source, contributing maintenance local fauna.
