摘要: Rac, a small GTPase in the ras superfamily, regulates at least two biological processes animal cells: (i) polymerization of actin and assembly integrin complexes to produce lamellipodia ruffles; (ii) activity an NADPH oxidase phagocytic cells. activation is mediated through rac effector protein, p67phox, using chimeras made between closely related GTPase, rho, we have identified distinct sites rac, one N-terminal C-terminal, both which are required for p67phox. The same essential rac-induced fibroblasts. p65PAK, ubiquitous serine/threonine kinase, interacts with N- C-terminal sites, but GTPase-activating bcr different region. This makes not bcr, candidate lamellipodium formation.
