摘要: This study employed Taguchi method to identify key factors influencing the protection provided by surface treatment of reinforced concrete structures. We evaluated protective characteristics silicate sealer (SCS) as well its underlying mechanisms. An L12 (27) orthogonal array was produced using seven control and two levels obtain necessary data from only twelve experiments. Tests were performed evaluate compressive strength, water absorption, permeability. The major effectiveness SCS included water-binder ratio substrate, cumulative curing time sealer, content pozzolanic material, type materials. XRD analysis SEM observation revealed composition efficacy in protecting concrete. reacted chemically with cement hydration product Ca (OH)2 filled pore structure C-S-H gel, which succeeded greatly improving mechanical properties
