摘要: Cytogenetics is the gold-standard in biological dosimetry for assessing a received dose of ionizing radiation. More modern techniques have recently emerged, but none are as specific cytogenetic approaches, particularly dicentric assay. Here, we will focus on principal used dosimetry: assay metaphase cells, micronuclei binucleated and premature condensed chromosome (PCC) interphase cells. New fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) (such telomere-centromere hybridization) facilitated analysis permitted to assess long time after irradiation by translocation Tri-color FISH or Multiplex-FISH). Telomere centromere staining PCCs make it possible perform assessment within 24 h exposure near future.
