摘要: Applications of mesosphere stratosphere troposphere radar to mesoscale meteorology are discussed. The applications include using the either as a research tool improve our understanding certain dynamical systems or part network used provide input data for weather forecasting. workhorse operational observing is radiosonde balloon which provides measurements pressure, temperature, humidity, and winds up heights 16 20 km. Horizontal vertical measurement capabilities, reflectivity data, derivable quantities parameters, special requirements surveyed.
