X-Ray Studies on Solid Solutions of Oxygen in a-Zirconium.

摘要: ABS>The solubility of oxygen in alpha -zirconium the temperature region, 400-800 deg C, was investigated by x-ray methods. The solubility, which is independent temperature, 28.6 at.% (ZrO/sub 0.4//sub 0/). With increasing content, length c axis increases over entire range while that a passes through maximum at composition ZrO/sub 0.2//sub 5/. In there exist two phases, 0.+//sub x/, with randomly distributed atoms, and Zr/sub 3/O/sub 1+y/, partly ordered atoms. At limiting 0.3/ /sub 3/), atoms are completely (Zr/sub 3/O). (auth)
