摘要: Gallium lanthanum sulfide glass (GLS) has been widely studied in the last 40 years for middle-infrared applications. In this work, results of substitution selenium sulphur GLS are described. The samples prepared via melt-quench method an argon-purged atmosphere. A wide range compositional substitutions to define glass-forming region modified material. complete Ga2S3 by Ga2Se3 is achieved involving new higher quenching rate techniques compared those containing only sulfides. exhibiting glassy characteristics further characterized. particular, optical and thermal properties sample investigated order understand role formation glass. addition generally a lower transition temperature extended transmission window. Particularly, IR edge found be from about 9 µm 15 Se-added defined 50% point. Furthermore, does not affect UV dramatically. hypothesized explain these changes.
