Overdentures stabilised by two IMZ implants in the lower jaw--a 5-8 year retrospective study.

摘要: Clinical and radiographical parameters were assessed in forty patients with overdentures stabilised by two IMZ implants connected a bar the lower jaw 5-8 years retrospective study. Results indicated that most had healthy peri-implant tissues, mean pocket probing depth was 3.1 mm median periotest value -4. Three removed after healing period replaced three new implants. One implant lost six years. mobile on palpation. None of showed objective signs dysaesthesia lip or chin. The bone level remained stable one year service. overall success rate 94% (Albrektsson et al.) it is therefore concluded implants, jaw, provide base for long-term support mandibular overdenture.
