摘要: To examine the validity of a newly established "three-odor detection (TOD)" procedure using one volatile organic compounds (VOCs), limonene, food-restricted male mice were used. Five animals each assigned to either TOD or single-odor (SOD). was composed two trainings and test (TEST) session. Mice trained discriminate an odor coffee from no odors cheese in 1 2, respectively. In TEST, required coffee, cheese, limonene odor. SOD, Each training conducted once day until achieved learning criterion (75% correct response rate for 2 consecutive days), maximum number sessions (20 sessions) completed. The reaching TEST (8.2 ± 0.8) smaller than that SOD (19.2 0.8). Results indicated detected low levels VOCs more rapidly SOD. I concluded is useful detecting VOCs.
