摘要: To determine the distribution of CA 125 in adenocarcinomas, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue from 481 cases adenocarcinoma a variety primary sites were studied using monoclonal antibody to (B27.1) and an avidin-biotin immunohistochemical technique. Positive reactivity was most common adenocarcinomas endocervix, ovary, endometrium (61% 94%). However, relatively frequent positive reactions also seen pancreas (48%) bile ducts (56%). Adenocarcinomas breast, lung, thyroid, distal esophagus/stomach, liver (hepatocellular carcinoma) showed 7% 20% cases. Staining rare tumor cells 2 45 colonic 1 61 prostatic adenocarcinomas. No 54 renal cell carcinomas studied. Although is commonly present gynecologic it produced by some many other sites. Immunostaining for may be helpful ruling out carcinoma certain clinical settings.
