Research this field comprises investigation role individual nutrients and foods, nutrient composition, as well dietary patterns habits. Longitudinal data association between factors development obesity childhood adolescence are sparse; therefore, conclusions impact energy density, consumption carbohydrates proteins, snack foods fast food, meal speed eating cannot be drawn. More exist with respect to intake fat sugar-sweetened beverages; however, findings inconsistent. This could due methodological shortcomings that mark assessment children adolescents. However, a direct modulator balance, diet still needs part comprehensive strategy combat overweight
