摘要: A new method was developed to increase the saliency of changing variables in a cardiovascular visualization for use by anesthesiologists operating room (OR). Clinically meaningful changes patient physiology were identified and then mapped inherent psychophysical properties visualization. long history research has provided an understanding parameters within which human information processing system is able detect size, shape color visual objects (Gescheider, 1976, Spence, 1990, Baird, 1970). These detection thresholds are known as just noticeable differences (JNDs) characterize amount change object's attribute that recognizable 50% time. prototype version display been demonstrated facilitate anesthesiologist's performance while reducing cognitive workload during simulated cardiac events (Agutter et al., 2002). In order further improve utility visualization, clinically relevant perceptual representational elements display. The results described this paper used merge from with patient's measured clinical meaningfulness questionnaire. result combination will create sensitive health communicates user meaningful, salient intuitive manner.
