摘要: We are reporting on a 36-year-old man with septicemia and liver abscess due to Actinomyces sp. The infection was most probably acquired while eviscerating deer he had shot. possibility of an involving bovis is discussed. diagnosed the basis non-invasive procedures. Therapy consisted high-dose penicillin without surgical drainage abscess. did not recur during three-and-a-half year follow-up period. No previous reports successful antibiotic therapy for actinomycotic procedures known.
