摘要: In the Internet, IP addresses play dual role of identifying hosts and locating them on topology. This design choice limits way a network can control its traffic causes scalability issues. To overcome this limitation, Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP) has been introduced. LISP, used to identify end (i.e., identifiers) are independent locate locators). LISP maps identifiers into list locators provides mean transport packets with appropriate locator. A key feature separation is that several be associated given identifier, leading more for an end-site path selection reach destination. In paper, we show locator have impact performance reliability communication in environment. aim, build mapping between as if were deployed today. addition, extensively collect delay data demonstrate identifier prefix impacts 25% cases. Finally, measure availability over time it remains quite stable.
