摘要: The rates of chlorination Fe (528 to 921 K), Ni (890 1249 and Sn (340 396 K) in Cl2-He andCl2-Ar mixtures were measured. In the temperature range respective investigations overall reaction products are gaseous: (FeCl3)2, NiCl2, SnCl4. Transport through gas film boundary layer at surface sample plays a major role controlling rate reactions over large ranges for all three metals. high-temperature iron (> 680 nickel 993 as well entire studied tin, transport Cl22(g) controlled experimental conditions present work. NiCl2(g) Ni-Cl2 lower temperatures. Fe-Cl2 temperatures is by slow between Cl2(g) FeCl2(s) which covers iron. activation energy formation activated complex (FeCl3)2‡ 23 kcal/g-atom Fe.
