摘要: We present a self-contained treatment of planar gauge theories broken down to some finite residual group H via the Higgs mechanism. The main focus is on discrete theory describing long-distance physics such model. spectrum features global charges, magnetic vortices, and dyonic combinations. Due AharonovBohm effect, these particles exhibit topological interactions. Among other things, we review Hopf algebra related this theory, which provides unified description spin, braid, fusion properties in Exotic phenomena as flux metamorphosis, Alice fluxes, Cheshire charge, (non-)Abelian braid statistics, generalized spin-statistics connection, non-Abelian scattering are explained illustrated by representative examples.
