摘要: Microfluidic devices are disclosed which can be manufactured using surface-micromachining. These utilize an electroosmotic force or electromagnetic field to generate a flow of fluid in microchannel that is lined, at least part, with silicon nitride. Additional electrodes provided within about the for separating particular constituents during based on charge state magnetic moment. The also pressurized channel. present invention has many different applications including electrokinetic pumping, chemical and biochemical analysis (e.g. electrophoresis chromatography), conducting reactions microscopic scale, forming hydraulic actuators.
