摘要: In evaluating thermoplastics for their effective performance during processing, rheology properties are very useful. Similarly, in designing processing apparatus, knowledge of rheological behavior composite melt is critical. this study, flow and viscosity polypropylene/kenaf fibre was investigated using a single-screw extruder. Subsequently, the compounded formulation were evaluated by comparing index, curve PP that composites at 190oC temperature varying size. There appears to be positive linear increase apparent shear stress with rate and, as expected, values samples much higher than especially larger The additional kenaf reduces MFI value basically because hindrances plastic polymer. addition loading might contributed high specific area matrix thereby increasing composite. Moreover polymer system tends disturb or disorganize normal free movement certainly hindered mobility chain segments flow.
