摘要: Animals often develop in conditions where environmental such as food, oxygen and temperature fluctuate. The ability to adapt their metabolism these fluctuations is important ensure normal development viability. In most animals, low (hypoxia) deleterious, however some animals can alter physiology thrive under hypoxia. Here we show that TORC1 modulation adipose tissue required for organismal adaptation hypoxia Drosophila. We find rapidly suppresses kinase signalling Drosophila larvae via TSC-mediated inhibition of Rheb. this hypoxia-mediated specifically the larval fat body essential viable adulthood. Moreover, effects on tolerance are mediated through remodeling lipid droplets storage. These studies identify a key sensing coordinates whole-body survival changes by modulating
