Synthesis of Ternary and Quaternary Au and Pt Decorated CdSe/CdS Heteronanoplatelets with Controllable Morphology

摘要: A variety of new ternary and quaternary metal–semiconductor inorganic nanostructures with unprecedented structural morphologies is achieved by the decoration five monolayer-thick CdSe/CdS core/crown nanoplatelets Au Pt domains. Significant differences in metal growth behavior are observed varying CdSe core CdS crown dimensions. Depending on size, can be directed only to edges, or both at edges center nanoplatelets. In contrast, nucleation domains always happens independently Furthermore, structures obtained additional Pt-decorated nanoplatelets, where effect steric hindrance existing results occur core.
