摘要: Cleome viscosa is one of the most important weeds warm‐season crops in southern Iran. Laboratory experiments were conducted to assess impact environmental factors on seed germination C. viscosa. Freshly harvested seeds exhibited dormancy that was relieved (>90%) after immersion for 20 min concentrated sulfuric acid. Regardless temperature regime, final percentage light/dark (69.3%) significantly higher than complete darkness (58.3%). The optimum 35/25°C both light and dark. No observed at constant temperatures either 15 or 45°C. thermal thresholds germination, base (Tb) mean ceiling (Tc₍₅₀₎) estimated be 18.8 39.9°C, respectively. A water potential (Ψb₍₅₀₎) −0.96 MPa identified seeds. response threshold reduce 50% maximum salinity 255 mM. Seeds placed soil surface had highest seedling emergence (77.3%), no seedlings emerged from a depth 6 cm. findings this study could help improve integrated weed management strategies species.
